Cross-drill filters are automatically added to the pane when a drill-down filter is passed to another visual on the report page via the cross-filter or cross-highlight feature. Even if you can edit a report, you can't delete, clear, hide, lock, rename, or sort this filter because it's associated with the drill-down functionality of visuals.

Life time course access with limited price offer $12.99Power BI DAX transition from SQLhttps://www.udemy.com/course/power-bi-dax- I added an additional drop drop menu which filters a gallery for "Mission Type". Combined with the Crew filter and Year filter, I'm able to correctly use the Sum and CountRows formulas. It seems that in this scenario, it is a good practice to filter a gallery first, then pull data from it. Rather than querying the database directly. Especially for models that contain filter attributes in fact tables, it's a good idea to use Count table rows aggregations.
However, when it comes to Power BI we do have a filter drop-down list but when summarizing the data we need to use DAX function i.e. Filter. It's working with that formula : HDDProduct= CALCULATE (COUNT ([Product]),FILTER (ALL ([Product]),SEARCH ("HDD", [Product],1,0))) It only count the number of product with HDD in their name. But if I want a sum of the prices of those products for example, it won't work.
